Right Getting a SX2 Pro
Hi
Happy new year to all A bit of advise thought long and hard about a 4wd was looking at a durango but as i run a cougar seems to be more sense as stick packs fit etc, same wheels some parts fit. What i would like to know what parts to fit on the car while building it alloy transmission mounts, fab system, alloy steering, new idle gear setup etc rather fit while building then get it and strip it to fit. So all advise welcome Also on the subject does anyone know if there is a new car around the corner for the season rather wait and have a later car. Thanks |

I've been running one for two months now, the main thing to fit is the alloy steering set up as the plastic set up simply isn't up to the job.
It should come with the new idler gear set up now, thats how mine came. |

Back again
I have just been looking on ebay at a new unbuilt sx2 s1 kit is this the same as a pro apart from the graphite chassis and shock towers, also looks as it has alloy lower gearbox housing is this right,is it worth buying the s1 as i think i saw that team drivers fit a s1 chassis, but as we race on astro thought a graphite would be better.Dont mind which kit but dont want to buy the s1 if the pro would be better to start with then fit the s1 chassis if,when neeeded. thanks |

I bought a Pro before it was obvious that the S1 chassis was the way to go so I priced up an S1 and upgrade v's Pro and I'm pretty sure it worked out cheaper to go Pro & get the S1 chassis for where you need it.
