http://www.rcracer.com/on-road-artic...t-the-olympics and as part of my job I've driven the full size versions which have the equivalent of 204bhp which is 'interesting in a front wheel drive car with SO much weight over the rear axle! Don't know what chassis the RC version is based on but it looks to be 1/4 or 1/5 scale.

Seen them now. All THREE of them. Saw one pootling across the field as it wasnt going very fast s had a Javelin sticking out of it. Bigger than i`d expected to 5th scale i`d say.

There's a bit of controversy about these at the games, apparently the olympics are supposed to be advert free however the mini Is so well recognised that there are a few people not happy about it, probably as this Is the version made by BMW and not the iconic early mini!
I just think that it's a great idea to use them! Wonder if there's any well known drivers driving them??! |
