Default Speedo control repair

Anyone able or know anybody who can repair speedos?
Blown my absima speedo by stupidly in a rush connecting it up backwards....

Pm. Pugs on here......chances are though, if you reverse connected it, it will be beyond repair..

It's so annoying it takes a split second and then it's screwed..... Should be a fuse on these things

I know it is a bit late and with no recompense but arranging the lead lengths so that they cannot be plugged into the wrong battery port is the simplest solution and usually possible on most layouts, it also keeps the leads short as well.

Of course some esc's are self protected in the first place, may be worth the future proofing investment?

One saving grace, we have ALL done it at some point, if we are honest and for those that haven't, well done or very lucky!

Couldn't agree more... I've done it myself on a new LRP..,

I Always make the leads up to the exact length so this cant happen... Silly boy Gavin.

can easily happen on saddle packs as there is no standard for polarity lent my spare K1 to a good fellow racer yesterday both running saddles of different brand, and positive / negative connections are in "different corners"

2 sec later magic smoke and poorly speedo hopefully a capacitor may solve it luckily it was on a chaepy job
