SHY's Paint
Just thought I'd make a tread where I can gather up my paintworks.
I'm in a much lower league than some of the true artists on here! But I nevertheless find great joy in trying new paint schemes. As I see it it's a very important part of the enjoyment of this hobby of ours! Of course you can pay people to paint for you, but I really recommend to give it a shot yourself! Start off simple and try to improve! It's very revarding and fun once you get the hang of it! And you can get great results from more simple schemes and good use of stickers too! I always prefer cars/painjobs that look good & fast ON the track! Not like a flower painting I very very seldom paint for others. Not that I wouldn't like to, there's just not enough time I hope it may be of inspiration to others! Feel free to comment! 2002 Group C paintjob for 1:8 TR car 2002 GT paintjob for 1:8 TR car, made for the Concour'd Elegance in the Euros B in Lostallo 2003 2003 CanAm Lola paintjobs for 1:8 TR car. Before the Euros A in Oslo 2003 (my hometrack) I bought and painted every single 1:8 body available... and none were faster than my good old Group C :-( 2004 job, CanAm Lola 200mm Serpent body on a Corally CCT (Competiton Touring) 2004 CanAm Lola paintjob for 1:8 TR (Protoform CopyCat job :-) 2004 CanAm Lola paintjob for 1:8 TR 2006 CanAm Lola paintjob for 1:8 TR. This is a very simple design, but it looks good on the track. And it's very good to drive, as it gives supreme contrast to the asphalt. Here I've gotten hold of plotter cut out Puma logos from a friend. 2008 - getting tired of 1:8 TR, and hooked on electric buggies! (and oOple) This is my B4. 2008 X-Factory X-5 paint 2008 AE B44 paintjob
