Default Xray xb4 drive shaft safety collars

Hi guys,

Please help I have just bought an xray and I must admit I love the car especially after copying people's setup from the Web. The build quality of the kit is amazing.

Right the only problem I had on Friday while in the lead was the dam drive shaft pin punched a hole in the plastic safety collar and locked the drive up 2 meters before the line! It was the front shaft from the slipper to the front diff. I have rebuilt it since and re greased it properly. As the old stuff had gone. According to xray on the web these collars prevent pins falling out, this is clearly not the case.

So my question any ideas how to prevent it, a guy at the torch club had some aluminium ones, but I can't track them down.

Please help.

Thank you in advance.

Chris
