I think if you go with either the Schumacher KF or Team C TM2 you would have a very good car. Both are very good on astro or carpet, and both can work when the grip goes in the wet. In high grip the forward motor cars should be easier to drive quick than mid motor cars, and I've found the KF is very easy to drive compared to a SV2.
I'm not sure on the RB6, seen a few run at our club but most have sold them on as they felt they weren't as good as the RB5 Vega on high grip. |

I'm still surprised more people don't think the Losi 22 2.0 is good?

Its good, but there are better cars out there.
We had 6 or 7 losi 22 1.0 drivers at our club, they've all changed now, some to XB4 2wd, some to RB6, some to C4.2 (i think). None have gone from 1.0 to 2.0. I like my DEX210. |

I had an original Losi 22 and thought it was good until I tried my 210 with it back to back. With the 22 I had made many changes which made it better and better with each change I made but found the 210 to be much better straight out of the box. I have not tried out a 22 2.0 and alot of people say they are better than the original but as they say once bitten. I have now made my choice and am pleased.

I used to drive losi 22 1.0. it was good car but I had made so many changes including bellcrank steering. now I drive tm2.. it was real good out of the box. tm2 has better 'handling' than losi 22.
losi 22 doesn't respond quickly in direction changes compared to my tm2 but little faster in the corner if you set the car first before entry, TM2 can react much faster to inputs. Very different cars to drive Losi 22 wont see where TM2 goes. I only had my TM2 for less than a week so much more to come. I picked TM2 because it was easiest car to work on, i.e rear diff need 4 screw to remove the diff cover.. leaving everything else alone, plus everyone at my club run it... never tried Schumacher KF, it does look good though. |
