I've found:
Ball diff in sandy / wet / low grip. At RHR and Stotfold I found 20,000 wt to be spot on when the grip is high to medium. |

I tried the ball diff at Stotfold and it was excellent but I did not try the gears there. |

Ran 2K on a medium grip carpet tonight and the car rocked. Very happy with the gear diffs. Might try 3K just to see.

2,000 sounds very thin. I started on 7,000 and worked up to 20,000.

Jon Spencer recommended 2/3k as a start point (different car I know) and the carpet is fairly slippy. It ran very well, very comparable grip to the ball diffs. I have 3k 5k 7k and 10k to try as well.

Realised when I checked my tyres that the car had been diffing out as the inside tyre was much more worn that the outside tyre. Therefore tried a 5K oil and even on the worn tyres the drive improved immensely with not much change in on power slip. Put new tyres on and much more even wear pattern so will move up to a 7K to see the change again. Noticed that the top KF drivers are using 7K on med grip carpets so maybe that is the sweet spot for the X6-S as well.
