Losi 22: 2.5mm Lightweight Aluminium Chassis
So Losi have announced a new chassis for the 22. Red RC claim its lighter, lowers the Center of Gravity, and it has a shorter wheelbase. The Red RC review says all this should improve the performance on low and medium grip surfaces. But I would be intrested to know how it would effect the high grip UK tracks.
My setups recently have involved loading the car up with as much weight as possible. SO a machined out chassis doesnt sound very appealing. But then the Low CoG and the shorter wheelbase sound like something i might like to try! http://www.redrc.net/2014/10/tlr-22-...inium-chassis/

How can it be lighter 'and' lower the cog?
Interested to know how they managed this! |

Definitely worth it.
The car feels more planted exiting the turns and completes the turn faster without the stall that can otherwise happen in the middle of the turn. 100% worthwhile. The only downside is that it makes the R/C space even more cramped. |

It's milled out so everything 'sits' lower...
