Hi Bathy,
Already spoken to the Ebay place, and they sent me separate pics of the box, it is the worlds spec (or the boxes say so anyway!) and the correct part number. I complete agree its mad they use images of the standard car instead though!! |

For info:
Champ is about £50 cheaper than the ebay place, but the ebay place claims theirs comes with an English manual. Did yours have import duty added Bathy, or do Champs kits normally not incur it? And would someone just working with the Japanese manual stand a chance? |

In terms of spares for the worlds spec, does it use the same wishbones/castor blocks/uprights/steering spindles as the standard/factory kits?
And does anyone have part numbers for the worlds spec shock towers? |

In fact are the shock towers different?

Hi all, i have both standard BX and world.
The shock towers are different but arms/caster blocks/spindles are the same. For daveG28, front shock tower is BX017CW and rear BX018CW. |

Cheers mate!
How do you find the 2 cars? |

hi dave,
I had really enjoyed the original BX with the UK upsidedown rear mod and the 0,5 rear hub, it make the car very stable. I can't compare it with the BXW because i have only raced once and the conditions was totally different (wet and muddy track) and it keeps on raining in france until now. But i found the bxw easier for accessiing to the diffs and maintenance. And in my point of view, i found the bxw prettier... |

Hi Again,
Do you have a full parts list for the BX worlds? One disadvantage of the Japanese instructions, I can use the images to put the car together but have no idea what part numbers are for ordering spares! Also, does anyone know what size diff balls thekit takes, and what material the standard car comes with for diff balls? I always like to use carbide where possible! |

Answered my own questions on the diff balls!
I bought graphite spare bits (arms?/uprights etc) I assume the kit doesn't have these parts as standard, but does anyone know for sure? |

I broke a load of front shock towers on the standard BX (most people seem to double them up), hoping the worlds ones last longer, not broken one yet, again maybe I should double them up. Diff balls, they are 3/32 size yup? |

The standard ones are smaller metric (3mm) but I used AE carbide 3/32's in my BX from the start.

As far as I can tell the parts list shows 3/32. I'm chucking AE 3/32 carbide ones in anyway, hate building diffs!
