The gap between the tie rod balls is closer on my plates so I can use a standard Mardave steering arm. I also thined the carbon over the springs to 1mm so it has less affect on the spring. The carbon is cut with a hack saw, bolted together, and belt sanded or filed to the finished shape on a machine like this:- Ebay Item number: 270832116801 |

Used RCSGraphix liquid mask, 4 coats. Draw out the design, then using a scalpel, cut out all the design. I then removed certain hearts so I could add black separators on the hearts that overlapped. Once that was all done, all hearts were removed, 4 light coats of fluorescent pink sprayed, then the edges of each heart was backed with a flat red. Then all backed with two coats of white, then silver to seal the colour in before the main shell colour sprayed.
