Hey Chris, how is the CF plate for heat? I know Glenn Atterton on here did it and I wonderred about the heat from the motor then.

Actually, my name is Chris too. I think he was talking to me since he also referenced the X-60 I built for him.
As far as heat goes with the CF motor plate, I don't think there is much of a difference between the CF one and the AL one. Our motor temps are pretty much the same. If there is a difference, it is very small.

Paul, do you know if Brian is running a taller ratio front to rear or if it is a higher internal ratio overall ?
How does that actually change how 4wds react to motor torque and overall handling? ![]() |

Its a higher internal ratio. The stock X - 5 is a 1.75 with 29 tooth diff pulleys; I believe the Xray pulleys are 34 teeth (not quite sure) which would make the internal ratio around 2.00. He's not over- or under-driving the front, if that's what you mean.
