Most of the things are quite obvious to me, but what is the reason for the rear hubs? Any theories?

cant be to stop the clogging up issues as Durango have they're own alloy hubs. may just be a test part, with an extra few degrees or something |

My personal theory is that these hubs allow the wheel axle to sit approx. 1mm further back, based on the amount of shims I think I see sitting in front of the hub, but it is hard to tell exactly from the photos. Any takers? |

I remember this being a performance mod for the XX year ago, hinge pin used to nearly pass between the rear hub bearings. From memory, it stops the car swaying as much in quick direction changes on loose surfaces.... but I may be corrected on this.

Driveshaft/hub chance will def change the driveshaft plunge. Perhaps he is trying to gain a little extra grip due to a difference in driveshaft bind. The alloy suspension mounts are even more interesting. This is purely speculation but I wonder if they are the rdrp lrc mounts. If this is the case it brings roll centre (and the rest of the rear geometry) to being identical to a b4.1. Food for thought though!!
