END OF SEASON ROUND UP AFTER STOTFOLD

Last weekend saw the fifth and final round of the oOple Open Off road Series for 2019 held this year at Stotfold.

It was great to see some old faces visit from the National Series along with some newbies who had never raced off road before!

Unfortunately following the terrific heat of last week, the weather gods thought we needed cooling off so it basically rained all weekend, luckily nothing like what we saw on the M62 on the way home which was basically a river!

The stotfold crew did a great job putting a roof on the rostrum to keep the rain off the drivers heads and the track hardly puddled at all.

The drivers in all classes dealt with the tricky slippy conditions really well and there was some great wheel to wheel racing in the finals spread over three legs and being six minutes long.

Race control and commentary was kept going by Matthew Guppy (A State of RC) and everyone enjoyed the bants!

The finals results will be added to this post soon so you can see where the drivers finished, but the Championship results are below:
