Default It depends...

For me it depends on the class I race, On or Offroad. Touring stock I prefer the Trinity CO27 PRO Brushed in the EVO 4, you can tweak the motor (more power) but maintenance is nonstop. My 501X has the SPHERE Brushless system and I love it, the power is INSANE!

I love the BL systems but i run 5 cells and 4.5 or 4.0 in my 501X
With 5 cells you get a powerband that is just amasing.
past weekend i had over 2000 left in my packs i 4wd.

And the balance in the car is beter with 5 cells

Because I successfully got my B44 beat with the Tekin RedlineTamiya 501x WE.
My B44 is still no slowpoke though.

After driving the 501x last week, Id say I accomplished my mission to
have my 501x faster than my B44.

The 501x is alot easier to drive, and it has alot better amount of steering
to my B44. I like to drive both cars though.
It's so hard to choose a favorite overall.
I got the 501x for one job(succeed in trophy races)
I got the B44 for club racing because parts are so much easier to get.

After seeing the 501x in action www.reoraceway.com or Reo Raceway will be stocking
in 501x worlds edition kits and parts also.

BMag,

You are the man. I am going to take you advice and follow it to the letter.
Thanks.

How did you glue that diff again? And build that other one without some parts in it?

Cheers,

G

my bad

Im installing a front one way, and in the rear pulley I'm gonna run tugsten diff balls. That should solve any diff issues I had in the past.

What balls did you run before?

I run titanium balls in mine.
