Aye aye Cap'in, will certainly help you mate, don't keep stripping spurs anyway - will try and resolve whatever issue is causing that and prevent it.
Just seen the forecast for Saturday and its looking good, fingers crossed Sunday is same if not better!!!! |

captainslow..... when you've removed the stripped spurs, is the center hole out of shape or deformed?

I'm pretty sure Si will help lay the track as well. I think he was asking if he turns up at 8:30 is there any objects to him having a run around a non built track until you guys get there? |

Just lock the nut up so the slipper is tight, thats all I do. I threadlock the screw in, and have never changed the nut.
Edit: The reason I do this, is the SX spurs melt as easily as cheese, so I don't allow my slipper to slip which would generate enough heat to do it. What I would do is use Losi Kevlar spur and slipper pads, I may do this once I have some money to buy some spurs. |

Once the track is built, then feel free to practice as much as you are able to. Thanks Chris |

Unfortunately there are parts of the track still under construction ( Tarmac corner & some of the grass sections have been treated) these will be shuttered off for the meeting. I should think most people will be down before 10am, So as soon as the track is laid we can get practice under way. So the quick answer to your question is no, Sorry |

Thanks to all who turned out today - I think you will all agree it was a very good day indeed - 89 people racing too - it's good job it didn't clash with any other events
Seriously though, thanks to all who came, I had a great day I hope everybody else did too. |
