I worry with original differentials on D4 so I think about it, when durango differentials work in Associated B44 why not in D4...
![]() I was made special axle shaft for attachment bevel gear ,change one ball bearing for perfect gear distance and mill the differential house. Now it perfect function ![]() sorry for my bad english ![]()

Wow...I might try that! How does it work compared to the ball diff?

I have not had problems with my d4 diffs. You just shim them properly, set your slipper and your good. But the work you have done is pretty cool. I like seeing people try new things.

To 4times: I do not know, I have not tested it on track, That I can say after this weekend
![]() To bjcaldwe:That is true but I prefer tight slipper, on carpet and high grip track it is a problem ![]() this is a certainty ![]()

On carpet with a hefty motor, I could see that becoming a problem. Is your car a wce or the non wce version?

It's WCE, i like geared diff more tahn ball diff, it's better for precision set-up.

That would be cool if it worked ......After running today our track was pretty hard packed lots of traction everywhere and my diff is pretty gritty after a whole day of racing , keep us posted .

Ben Cosgrove (HPI team leader in the UK) has done this to a Cyber10b.
Must say it worked a treat! Awesome amount of accelleration. It just looked like he was driving a fat durango. It does work if done properly, and makes them go like stink! ![]() |
