First go at airbrushing
samsung 360.jpg
Here is a pic of my 1st attempt with an airbrush...(it only took me 2 days...LOL) Can anyone suggest a better way to clean the airbrush rather than dismantling it every colour? Thanks to Jon Miller for the advice already given! |

what paint are you using fist of all?
if water id use warm water and these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/5-PCE-TATTOO-T...item335ac7b786 same as with non water based just use thinners remove the nozzle and draw back the needle and give them a good rooting with the brushes repeat if needed then when you spray a cap of water through place your finger over the tip of your brush so it bubbles back into the bowl see if any paint is remaining if there is repeat the process with the brush again till clear hope this helps a little edit; forgot to say good work on your shell mate keep up the good work

nice attempt on yer first one buddy. get the film n window masks of n get er mounted. after sealing the shell of course and after leaving fit for a day before you do that.
tip out remaining paint wipe clean with paper towel put water or cleaning solution or thinners depending on what yer using into the cup spray through for a bit tip out wipe clean with paper towel put water or cleaning solution or thinners depending on what yer using into the cup back flush it (put finger over the end and press/pull triger tip out wipe clean with paper towel repeat as necessary - only takes15-20 seconds at a guess you get the picture depending on the next color will depend on how much you clean it out if at all. |

heres the one i pointed out to him
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Thorite-Diamon...item518d2661a6 as i said, not actually personally tried it so can't comment on its quality etc. but for starting out or even just to add another workhorse to the arsenal i'm sure you can't go wrong. .5 gravity brushes seem quite rare. everyone is obsessed with 'detail' and having a smaller needle/nozzle setup. |
