I like how they have standard setups for low and high traction dirt, carpet and astro turf on the kit page. They also did the same on the DETC page. Good job. Let's hope they can do the same on the DEX410v4 page and for the other kits.

Default 210 V2 diff/outdrives

Pics of v2 looks good.if anyone knows.will the ball diff be the same design as previous model as like many racers have had problems with it. Also will the longer outdrives be included in the kit.
Thanks...

Pretty sure it comes with longer out drives, I think the diff is the same design.

I don't understand the negative responses on the car: The original DEX had issues in it's suspension geometry and construction and they've solved those, with backwards compatability to the V1 - which is very nice for current all the people they lured to their brand with those cheap kits last summer! They could've just left all current DEX owners with obsolete cars, but instead they offer a new car or alternatively an upgrading route for your current car.

The only thing that concerns me on the new car is the roll center adjustability: going by the pictures it seems like there's no height adjustability for the rear inside ball studs, and the only logical anti-squat angle out of the box is 3 degrees.

And I doubt that's a real big issue in the end. For starters, if it really was that big a deal Durango may have adressed it themselves already, right? And then if you do want to change it, then there are already aftermarket parts: The Exotek LRC RF Hanger and the various camber link plates. And if you want to try out the result of those changes before buying those parts, just get out the Dremel on the standard RF hanger and gear casing!

Thanks for noting it, I wrote it down wrong: There is no downward adjustment possible from the kit setup it seems...

longer out drives as per the new tech info on the web site, I must admit to having three durangos and not had any real issues with the ball diff or the thrust race.

in fact I like the caged thrust race as opposed to the other cars that have you playing with tiny ball bearings, what a night mare trying to get them all together with out loosing one.

it would have been a bonus to have the diff come out as per the Schumacher design, four screws and the Schumacher diff is in your hand, it can be taken out serviced and replaced before you can get the Dex one out of the cases, may be for the V3 it could be changed.

it does seem strange that the use of the ball diff is the choice over the geared design, yet most manufactures make a real dogs diner of getting it out for service.

Sorry to mention Schumacher on a Durango post but they do have some real innovations in their cars, and the KF design will be a future bench mark.

What are the anti squat options? 2, 3.5, 5? based on 0, 1.5, 3 RF blocks and -2 LRC.

Ah, yeah.
I've had to mod mine (new rear camber link plate) so i can stick the balls underneath the plate If I need to.

I am using the alloy FR mount 3 toe and 0 anti squat then to change the anti squat I put plastic shims under the RF mount, a much cheaper option than buying different anti squat mounts
