Transmitter Modes
Morning all,
Just a quick one, Which mode is better to fly on, 2 or 4? Last edited by MatJohnson; 15-05-2014 at 10:52 AM. Reason: Incorrect mode in manual |

Whichever one you prefer/is most intuitive for you!
You need to be comfortable with the setup you have, that way your flying will come more naturally to you. Personally I prefer mode 2 for flying my quad because the right stick is simple in that it will 'bank' the model in whatever angle the stick is at, much like a conventional joystick. This is only my preference though, others will vary. It really is a personal choice/'feel' kind of thing. Neither is strictly 'better' than the other, its just what's best for you |

not sure what mode 4 is to be honest
mode 1 (tank or caterpillar drivers ) mode 2 (pudding stick jockeys) mode 1 main controls aileron and elevator are on seperate sticks mode 2 main controls are on same stick im a pudding stick jockey myself but its normally who first trained you whose mode you follow if your a newbie with out any previous experience mode 2 is most common each has its own slight disadvantages/advantages i like the fact i can use one stick and still fly and the throotle/power control is not on a major control surface stick dave |
