yep. original ones too soft, strips easy. Only 2.0mm flatheads attached too chassis, when dnx408 got 2.5mm cap ones.

I have never had a problem with them at all, is your allen driver in good nick? I only had a problem once when my driver was well worn not the screws fault. I own both cars and the 2.5mm cap heads are nice, but they require a lot more to be milled out of the chassis for the head to sink in. The dnx has a 5mm chassis and the dex has a 3mm chassis, i dont think it would be possible to have cap heads on a 3mm chassis without them pulling through!

I using EDS tools which is about same quality as hudy ones. I like have screws really tight specially those ones attached to chassis. Original durango screws really soft. I replaced it to carbonsteel ones 12.9 grade. Seems sorts problems. By the way i running on dirt mud/wet conditions, so screws gets rusty quickly.

Most screws that come with any R.C. car are bad quality. I have also upgraded some of the screws on my cars to high tensile ones.

I can tell you that the eds drivers are not the same quality as hudy as i used to have them and they wear very quickly and then get loose in the screw and then strip the head of the screw, i now have hudy drivers and never have this problem, i would say the TD screw are terrible as one of the screws in my DNX had a bit much lock tight and i snapped the tip of two drivers and the head of the screw was fine haha

I've had no issues with the screws in my TD cars (410 and 210, 2 of each)
Except where they've seized (my fault, not TDs). Or where I've used cheap or damaged tools. |

To be more accurate had problems only with flat head screws. Original durango ones is lower profile in comparison with carbonsteel ones. Screw hole is shorter also in fact. Could provide pictures to proof that however i think isnt necessary. By the way get used to run 1/10 sct for 1.5 year and never striped or damaged any screw due no need much torque cause everything attached to plastics.
