What car?
As 1/10 off road is all but dead over here in Ireland, I've made the decision to switch to 1/8 as it's by far the most popular class here. Question is though, which car do I go for? Agama seems to be one of the more popular cars up here in the north but there's also Tekno, Kyosho and Losi. What are people's opinions on any of these brands? Also electrics for the car, any recommendations?
Thanks in advance. David |

Having owned a Kyosho, I can recommend it, but they are very expensive.
I would think that the Tekno or Agama are both worth looking at however! All depends on budget, spares availability and what suits your driving?

Yep I'm going to mention another car. The HoBao Hyper VS is great value for money.
For electrics I wouldn't look anywhere else other than Hobbywing. |

I have an Agama and my brethen have an Sworks. I prefer the Agama personally but that might be because of the increased torque (and admittedly slightly reduces speed) of the motor choice on my buggy. I think the Hyper VS is likely to be a good choice, really good for bashing, because of the pedigree since the Hyper 7 E stuff. What do you want to do with it? Race? If so visit the club and get first hand face to face advice.
Agama are pretty awesome tho dude edit: whoops thread revive

I would think about the Tekno great car, great value for money and practically un breakable. I have run a kyosho like Mark, and that too was a good car, but im a lap quicker with the Tekno over a final distance.
Cheers Rich
