Default Running out of distance

Hi all new to this we have just fitted a new brushless motor in our absima car everything works apart from the distance do you have to tune anything in . Before the car would be at the end off the car park and you’d still be able to drive it not it s only getting 10/20 metres and stops till you walk towards it

Possible damage to the end of the aerial on the receiver, should have about 1/2 inch of white end showing, I have had a similar issue when I used an etronix tx and rx and part of the little white end snapped off reduced the distance massively, worth checking???

I had an Absima CR4T Tx/Rx which did similar. I contacted Absima and thy were brilliant and replaced it. All sorted, but not sure what the problem was mind you
