I'll be running my tires that did all day at a Dudley Indoor meeting including about 25 minutes of practice to try and get the evil pig to work ....... will I have a new 4wd though or will it be the piglet again ... more of a concern than the tires!!!!

Roger why don't you bin these cars off, and do what you always do, and get a Pred as they seem to be the only car to suit your style of driving,
Rather than coming on the forums and complaining that the car has been a piglet again.
This is not meant as a dig, but an observation from someone thats known and raced with you for years.

Just start with a standard high grip setup then go from there.

Anyone got an idea of a rough gear ratio for 4wd for this event. Being a complete newcomer to tenth electric 4wd I have no idea about an overall ratio. I'll be running 13x1. Thanks

Glypo let us know what the car is for the final drive ratio and we can have a crack at letting you know where to start for a pinion on that motor.

Not taken as a dig ...... your probably not far wrong, maybe I drove one for too long and it's sort of reprogramed my brain!!!

New car on the way, not a Pred though as I'm waiting to see what the X11 is actually like when / if it arrives.

Same here for my B44 with an 11x2 in it.

Not a new comer as such, but not raced 1/10th off road for at least 15 years so any knowledge I did have has either been forgotten, or is no longer any use. This race is going to be interesting to say the least.

Also if anyone has some set-up info for a B44/BJ4 that might suit this race, that'd be much appreciated.

Whose B44 are you borrowing Cris?

I'll have a 10x2 with me you could borrow if that's not quick enough for you.

10x2, 11x2.........you will have more problems holding em back than worrying if they are fast enough
