i'am gonna get mine saturday, are there thinks to watch out for when building? like the diffs or i see that you are having heatshrink on the shafts. thanks

Heatshrink all the driveshaft pins also put a gubscrew in from both sides.
Use thread lock on everything - especially the screw that holds the rear of the slipper assembly on, or it will drop off and you will lose the pin (will make sense when you build it!).
Plenty of grease on the x seals in the diffs and only fill with oil up to the top of the shafts or they will leak. Make sure you tap the crown wheels all the way down or the diff will bind.
Swap all the wheel pins, they snap.
If you dont use the boots, put the plastic boot holders over the outdrives to act as savers - ive seen one break without these on.
Use someones shock setup from the setups page, if you use the kit settings they are well over damped.

Some screws are in the wrong bags!

I know i was a bit worried about the diff weight but when i put it on the track on wed.....all was forgiven and worries forgot....it was great...straight out the box...what a car

but ive not raced it in anger yet because i had no shell.....just a little impatient few laps..(couldnt wait) shell is done now though.......ready for anger

it was a genuine question as i was curious, i had a feeling the car light diff or not still has to turn them big wheels, good to know ur a happy bunny, get the shell on and woop some ass

hey bigred you were right, because the diffs put the power down more efficently they do work better than ball dif, i know it doesnt seem faster but it really is,how did you know that even though you or your son dont drive one,
it because i have seen them drive on loose surfaces scott, thanks for the apoligy lol

Yeah cheers mate (big red) ran for the first time today with the 13.5 indoors in it and it was promising

Oh and many thanks to faversham for an excellent meeting yet again ...first class

p.s massive thanks to mark Headling for sorting out some new hubs for my old Durango and cleaning it up a bit out of pity
