Funny you talk about testing the truck as the chassis broke in half at the track this past weekend.
The truck will be sporting a G10 chassis now with aluminum bracing and G10 front and rear braces.

Here is a little update. I got my standoffs finally so i can start working on my front and rear chassis braces now.
I got the battery box installed tonight and the standoffs are on so i can measure for the correct length to cut them to.

breaking in half was alway the risk with a "cut and shut"

Looks a lot stronger now, nice one

Rear template and standoffs are done. Electronics will be mounted
on the top plate in front of the shock tower. All thats left now is to
make battery posts and hold downs.
