To be honest I have no idea what is included, my brother set everything up for me, I just did the graphics for the site.

The main thing I need to adjust is the shipping options. Paypal only allows 5 (I think) price bands for shipping. I want to be able to have lots so every item can have a certain weight associated with it in order to calculate accurate shipping. At present some orders I lose a little and some I make a little on shipping. I need a shopping cart that works with paypal too.

OSCommerce will do all of this as far as I can see. I remember you could set the weight of each product and band postage by weight. I think it also automatically does things like "people who bought this product also bought" type of stuff.
It has a number of modules for payment, including interfacing with paypal.
You will need a database to run it though.

Thanks for all the input guys.

So I've decided on an overhaul but finding the right company is proving to be a right pain! Shed loads out there but none that I can see to do the sort of work I want. They all do clean templatey looking sites where I am after something grungey/urbanesque...

What a ball ache!

Why can't you design it and get someone to build it? Your possibly a better designer than most of the companies have.

I would but I don't have the time to spend ages doing design work whilst not being paid. Unfortunately not rich enough yet to have that liberty.

Also, not knowing how websites work I may spend ages doing something only to be told it wouldn't work as a web.

But thats where working with the developer comes into play, I doubt there is anything you can think of that can't be done.

Microdark as recommended before or even Bighello will happily do that sort of thing.

When I've done stuff if you just give them photoshop stuff in layers they can take what elements they want, if they need to combine stuff they can. Give me a shout I can go through it with you, I'll be about tonight, Lisa's working late so won't be doing much.
