Ooh I'm tempted...
It is a bit noisy for about 10 minutes of driving, after that the car has the same noise as any other car.

hydra drive has a impeller inside(kinda like a propeller) that runs between veins inside the caseing and uses oil and the impeller as the slipper element, its a fluid(oil)drive/slipper

Well i sucseeded on doing the idler gear mod like si. Only issue i had was at full suspension travel my wishbone rubs on the idler gear. So im going to put 1 external spacer to stop and ive removed the edge of the idler gear by putting the car to half throttle and using a file

Just put the new Rudebits front corner weights, rear side pod weights, under motor weight and battery bars on the car along with Simons roll bar ideas and will run it on Wednesday at Bicester. I'll post the results on Thursday.

Thanks to Tony at Rudebits for the parts, I have to say they are as always a PERFECT fit to the car and they look amazing. I know from watching Simons car at the weekend that they really improve the handling of the car so i'm looking forward to giving them a go.

Get Rude .............. you know it makes sense

Ashley

I had the same problem with the Idler being to close to the wishbone at full suspension compression so if you look at my pics in detail you will see i have removed a small amount of the front wishbone just with a dremel. Just means the wishbone now does not hit the idler but make sure you us a spacer on the rear of the hinge pin so that the hinge pin has no slop and can't hit the idler.

Hope that helps

Si

Si, dont use a dremel on your car, they are not allowed (joke, see "other brand" thread)
