Great event, the jumps on ther track are sopt on - not difficult to get over without a spillage, but difficult to get just right for the best lap times.

I hope the camping/parking space issue is not a problem for future events as the track is ace.

Bright sunshine in the drivers eyes was a problem, but it's exactly the same for everyone.

Darren was fast, maybe too fast as it was not ultimate speed that won the day.

Numbers ran out on Sunday so Jimmy kindly went round recycling Saturdays numbers as some sort of crazy-human-number-dispenser. It was very nice.

Sweet to see Kev Lee take the 4WD national, the vast amount of work he and other local racers have put into remodelling the track and extending the use of the field over the past year has improved a good track into a great place to race.

Anybody have the other finalists, A & B ?

Thanks guys! I'll be honest and say that I did sink a few beers last night!

Well done to Lee and Darren on the series wins and to Grant and Nathan on their first national A finals.

From what I gather everyone enjoyed the track, which I am really pleased about. Sorry if the parking situation caused problems but I think everyone coped, and could be improved if we were to have another national. Sadly, I think it is unlikely as we just don't seem to have enough people to help with the organising.

I'd like to say a big thankyou to Keith Wardle, Matthew Cass and Gary Spicer for all the work they put in, we wouldn't have a club, let alone a national event if it wasn't for people like this giving up their time.

Looking forward to the Photos Jimmy and Stu

The event was really well run, the track is awesome.
Congratulations to the national champs Lee and Darren, Kev for winning yesterday, and also to Nathan Ralls for his first national A final.

Well done to the Host Club Officials. There weren't many of them and they sure pulled off a great event.
Kev (well done on the 4wd win by the way), it would be sad if such a venue were not to feature again as a National event due to lack of personnel support. The younger element at the club enjoyed the event so I am sure some of them would give up some time for track preparation in future. One thing is for sure, you can not expect one guy to do it all.
Regards.

I can't believe how good the weather was to end the season and we have had 2 meetings cut short this year because of bad weather!

Congrats to the 2 new A finalists, not just A finalists but double A finalists.
Congrats to Kev Lee for letting me know which ball joint kept popping off my car.... oh, and winning good drive indeed!
Congrats to Darren and Lee for their Titles
Congrats to the club for putting on a good national.

I enjoyed the weekend, I didn't have what it takes to drive around the track, I thought I did after round 2 in 4WD but that seemed to be just a blip

Wow wot a weekend i just cant believe it!! was well chuffed with the track it looked fantastic and drove even better!! made the A in 2wd qualifying in 7th the best bit was staying in the A all day with a 5,7,7 and a 4. the finals didnt quiet go to plan but ended up 8th just glad i didnt come last
|But 4wd was sommick else afta 2 rounds i was dead last!! but pulled it together wth a 5 in round 3 and a 3rd in round 4. putting me 7th again on the grid. had some great racing in the finals with the car feeling fast i had a 4 in leg 1 and a 2 in leg 3 afta a brilliant race with tony truman. i finished 3rd overall i couldnt dream that up!!!

well dont to darren and pidge on the titles well deserved i must say well done nathan on his pair of A finals was great to see
and last but not least kevin lee on all the hard work he has done on the track and winning the A!!

Same as everyone else really, it was in many ways my favourite track of the year and a shoe in for next year IMHO if you chose to reply.

Well done Kev, Nath, Grant and also Mathew Latham who was punching well above his usual weights kicking a few named asses in the 4wd D final

It was my dodgy radio gear that was holding Doddy back in the final.
