Haha, that would be nuts. What do they do exactly? Im gonna look into a night course, but as their so expensive i don't wanna get the qualifications in the area that pay £1 a day.

To be honest I don’t know but, look at the job descriptions on the websites for the ones with big wages and see what they require, then do those courses. 99% of people in the industry will pick knowledge over qualifications though, degrees are pretty pointless unless you want to go staff and pay 40% tax. Personally ill take the money

You can spot the ones with the degrees a mile off when you start talking about real life and not something that was explained in a text book or can be solved with a calculation.

I had an interview yesterday, which was interesting. The job i applied for was different to what they wanted The description was for system design and development and they wanted an Oracle admin. Funnily enough i still passed their tests, without really knowing what it was. Not sure the 2k a year for parking + fuel and car will be worth it.

more tax if you get the company car, i used to like having my fuel paid for that was a nice perk along with the car but you do get reamed by the tax man, i remember paying about 2k a month in tax out of a 5k month

Balls to that

PAYE is the devil

Have just done exactly that.
Was a Mech Eng permie working on the design & development of aircraft fuel systems for Airbus yesterday.
Have now set up limited company and got Airbus as end client so come back to same job on different aircraft on Monday.
Best thing is next week I'll be back as a consultant with double $$$ and less tax.
Drop me a pm if you want any info.
