Yes as long as your booster or rx pack can handle the load.

Looking for some help with a setup for 2wd. Running a Durango DEX210, Tekin RS Pro and a SpeedPassion V3.0 7.5t . Currently the car has no smoothness to the bottom end. All the settings are off (no turbo, no timing, setting 3 on the profile). Trouble is also the car lacks top end too.
The track is a mix of floor boards (very slippery), astro, carpet and painted wood. It has a mix of rumble strips, small jumps and a large tabletop. Any help for a starting point would be appreciated. cheers

This is what I run on a Redline Gen2 7.5 and RS Pro in my RB6
Gear ratio 26/76 DB 8 BS 100 LM 75 NW 8 TP 3 Sensored only mode Boost 25 Standard RPM range (5k to 20k) Turbo - off We have a few setups in our photo album section on facebook which might useful. Paul Timberlake's is Similar to this but with less boost and may be a safer place to start. I use the LM (Current limiter) a fair amount to tune how aggressive the car feels. generally 75% is a good place to start for 2wd and 80% for 4wd. Kev |

Thanks Kev. I've also played with the current limiter, but still finding that the car delivers to much to soon still. It's currently on 55%. I have no turbo set at all.
I tried playing also with profile C2, arranging a much more lower drop on points 1 and 2, which then ramps up to 3 fairly steadily. I then found the stick rather dead, then all of a sudden way way to much, so went back to the linear 3 profile. My Settings are Min Throttle - 5 Neutral Width - 10 Current limiter - 55% TP - 3 Boost - 0 Turbo - 0 Endbell timing - Centre Gearing 23/78 Drive mode - Sensord only M Type - BL/FW The ESC/Hotwire are the latest firmware Im hoping a team tekin driver might be around at the event this Saturday (im only doing 2wd) Im seriously thinking about putting in a 13.5t and turbo'ing it to give me the grunt and top end this weekend (im at OffRoad Wars).

Have you tried a softer motor Jo, on a small indoor track I go down to a 10.5, and only an 8.5, maybe 7.5 outdoors.
Then Kev's settings work well.

@ Jo90
On 7.5 don't be scared to try dual mode. Sensored only mode is pretty abrupt on the bottom end where as dual mode is not. If the track is slick OR I simply have too much power overall, I'll swap into dual mode, timing advance between 80-100.

I would suggest running in blinky mode to try it first with a 5.5 motor .22/87 gearing should keep it cool.

I would suggest initially to run it in dual mode first, as Randy set out, if you need a little more, use kevs setting above but with less timing.

Hi - I have an RS Pro speedo which I am very pleased with but can someone explain why it goes backwards if I turn my transmitter off first after a race. It isn't a big issue but I wondered if the reverse can be switched off.

You can set foreward and brake only using the hotwire. Wierd it does that though.
