So can TD confirm if they will be sending current 410 users replacement driveshafts ?

Obviously they are a problem. I think they should send users the 2.0mm driveshafts along with the updated ballcups and transponder mount.

any other company would ?

I find that last line hard to believe.

Just because they improve things (as ALL comanpies hopefully do) doesn't mean they should send out those parts for free? Crazy suggestion that they should or that other companies do.

I could fill the screen with weak points on various cars that were addressed / revised later - and I don't recall anyone getting free stuff.

The only thing that possibly comes to mind is the Tamiya Jugg - it was apparently horrificly weak and was quickly replaced by the Jugg2, and all Jugg owners got a free upgrade kit afaik.
I don't remember Tamiya giving me a revised camber mount for my 501X when they revised it because it was weak though? Or giving out the grey ball cups because the kit ones are crap - or giving TRF511 owners replacement ball studs because they were crap, or giving 501X owners new wheels because the front ones were crap. Etc etc, so maybe the Jugg was a one off?

Totally agree with Jimmy! I've been a Durango prototype fan for a long time, so I find it fantastic that Strenge & Co managed to start a company and actually produce and sell it!

Aero as we all know was a failure, and Serpent never got it together at all.

BUT - all new cars have "child deceases"... so personally I want to wait until "MKII"/"SP1" is out

Will the R version be updated as to the now known issues?

That car will also be much lighter right? (how much?) (without brass weights)

I can't confirm I have one fully assembled DEX410 Pro Spec, and one unassembled DEX410 Pro Spec (minus main chassis/side braces),and all the option parts, and 95% of the spares needed for repairs/rebuilds. Oh, and a very cool TD t-shirt! So, it might be unfair to some, if TD sent current owners free upgrades. I don't expect TD to do that. I would, however, be amazed, and extremely public about the fantastic TD Support, should they actually supply myself, and all current owners, with the upgrade free of charge! I'd be a TD owner for life! (Already there!)

Although the original pins are smaller and seem more easily broken/worn, I have had no problems since using two set screws on each drive pin. Not one issue! I've even used a softer metal pin (so I'm told) than the TD part, and still have had no issues. I don't believe the issue is with the part or design, as much as the lack of the second set screw in the kit. Anyway, I'll be upgrading to 2mm as soon as I can afford it, just for durability sake. 'Til then, it's two screws for me! Yep, that's what I said. Ha!

Btw, Jarred, thanks for the setup info. Very helpful!

IIRC, Xray did send out update packs to all the T2008 owners (think it was that one) cos it was rubbish

Here in Germany, you can pre-order the car.
I asked the distributor, when they will sell the car, and he cant tell me.
