I dunno if I should remove the front one-way or not, I mean I wont have any
front brakes at all. But I will have rear brakes....

It's worth a shot I suppose, I did want to have different things on the 501x
to set it up differently than my B44. Like the front-one-way etc...

Has anyone tried the aluminum steering bridge yet?
I still have the plastic one, so after I break it I'll install the aluminum one.

Steve- I am very close to the setup you suggested.
The springs you suggested I tried and I was airborne more then on the ground because of the track roughness.
My oil is 32 in front and 27 in rear with the same pistons.
My camber setting are the same except the front inner has 1mm under it.
What are you saying here- take some of your steering travel off on tranny
use neg expo on tranny" I don't understand, sorry.

I tried taking the bars off and way to tippy. I tried just a front and it worked better letting the rear loose. But the front is still needed.
So I will try some other things that were mentioned.
If I find one or two things that make a noticable difference I will let you all know what changes were made.
Thanks

Thumbs up

randy
your car was way underdamped for the blue silver spring combo
go up to 40 front 35 rear oils to overcome this.
trust me forget the roll bars between the shock limiters and the camber links this will control the tippy feeling if you try everything i say as the whole package. it all works together to create a really flat cornering car!!! i hate tippy cars also!!!

as for adustments to your transmitter(in uk known as tranny)
most have a function where you can change your steering throw(lock side to side) reduce this so your car does not have full steering
i never run with full lock

also most transmitters have control over steering curve called steering exponential turn this down to approx -25% to -50% ish or to a point at which you feel comfortable.
one other thing to try is move shock bottoms out front or rear.

try this and get back to me.
if i does not work
tell me what is happening and we will move from there

Personally I'm not gonna use the included swaybars just yet.
Do the swaybars reduce rear chassis slap, because I have not had any rear chassis slap yet...Isnt that what the rear kickup plate is made for??

Someone please anwser my questions. Thanks.

BMAG think of a roll bar as a horizontal spring, it has nothing to do with stopping chassis slap it stops the car from rolling side to side.

Alright Steve I will throw the complete Shock Setup at it.
I get the transmitter settings. I run the Dual Rate "steering throw" at 80%. the 501X has so much steering and the expo curve is 50%.
I am not running this weekend. I am going to bet on the horse races here in Texas. But I will run next weekend or maybe get some practice time in and I will get back to you.
I hope it works.
Thanks again for everyones time.

randy you dont say if your steering expo is + or - 50% if you are running on the + side then this could be your main prob
try movin to a - number as this will craete a much smoother entry to corner if you are already doing this then ignore my ramblings!!!
