Default Work Party this Saturday...14th July

Hi Guys,

We might appear to have been a little quiet of late...but work continues in the background!

The astro is due any time now, Si is chasing that and will have more news on Thursday as the football pitch we're getting it from is being taken up as we speak.

Before that astro can be laid we've got a load of tweaking/grading/smoothing/wacking to do to the track, so we're going to be at the track all day this Saturday doing as much of that as we possibly can.

There's no point lying about it, it's back breaking work...especially for one or two of us, so WE NEED ALL THE HELP WE CAN GET!!!...EVERYONE is welcome to come along and lend a hand!

Just bring spades and rakes if you have them, many hands need many tools, and we only have a few ourselves!

We'll be there from about 10am til 5-6pm...or as long as we have any energy left!

If we don't get some help with this then we won't get our/your track finished this summer..and that'd just be RUBBISH!!!!

Hopefully we'll see an army of you there...Please post your interest here in the meantime

Cheers Adam,

As I mentioned we'll be there until about 5-6pm...not sure if that leaves you with a useful window to get over to us...but would be cool if it does

As for the rest of you...don't all rush at once to show your interest lol...maybe we should be offering membership discounts* to anyone who helps out significantly during the tack build to entice you out?

I know Si has a talked to a few in person, so we should have a couple at least coming out to help, but the more the merrier...if you show your coming along on here maybe a few more will feel like coming too

*this offer is entirely imaginary, however if it helps you to feel better about coming to help out then feel free to use it is as a placebo!

andy, as always you have impeccable timing.

had a big barbeque in the diary for this saturady for over 6 months so i'm not going to be able to make it.

mind you, given my current track record of making WORM it should be no surprise.

i must find another job that gives me more time to race......
