Default 2012 Rep

A philanthropist has emerged from the darkness to offer the region his limited time and effort to guide the 2012 regional series.

Due to the printing of the BRCA Handbook next week, it has been suggested to move this quickly and efficiently. Therefore: -

Meeting to be held @ The Crown in Manningtree 8pm, tomorrow - Saturday 17th December 2011.

Anyone else wanting to stand as rep but cannot make the time, send your name to info@brca-eoe.co.uk .

All those present will vote.
All those who were present at the last meeting can vote for a rep of their choice by proxy. (send an email to the above address)
All those present at the last meeting are invited to submit concerns or considerations for 2012 by email to info@brca-eoe.co.uk if they can't make it.

I will then pass the "file" and funds onto the new rep.

Updates now being made.......

See all who turn up tomorrow

The 2011 off road regional series was a success attracting larger numbers than first expected, mainly due to the persistant group of hardcore off roaders led by Ben Hubbard (2011 Rep).
Sadly the excitement and momentum that Ben and his followers had built up over the season didn't stretch to the AGM and appointing a new Rep, this left our region with an uncertain future.

Worry no more the 2012 EofE Off road regional series will be represented by myself (Thomas Evans).
I will endeavour to build on the success of 2011 series and the hard work of my predecessor whilst He will be chasing a regional title!

The only real change to the successful format will be the addition of a support series of increasingly popular Short Course trucks which we feel will compliment the Buggies and create another exciting introduction to the sport!

Thoroughly looking forward to next year and being your point of contact (or attack whichever you'd prefer! Lol)
Contact details on the EofE and BRCA website will be amended ASAP but until then I can be pm'd through this site.

See you all Track side soon
Tom Evans

Look forward to working working with you Thomas.
The project we are creating at ARC will hopefully help to attract more top regional drivers to attend and take part in this region rather than use are neighbouring regions championships. Its not a matter that we have some great names from our region, its getting them to attend and giving them great venues to race at. It would be great to get back somewhere near the days when 100 drivers would attend EofE regionals, aka the 90's.
The short course class looks to be a good future bet too.
If the series is attractive enough people will come. Solid foundations is the place to start.
Happy Christmas.

Good luck for 2012 mate.
Also good luck to Ben Hubbard who done a superb job in 2011.
