Default RB6.6 setups

Hi guys, remember me?

Right, since the RB6.6 is a new car (yes the chassis DOES make that much difference) I think it's best we have a new thread to discuss making this incredibly grippy car go as well as it's potential.

I'll post up my basic setup soon, a few have tried and most have really liked it.

Struggling with the usual oOple issues of file size. I will upload to photobucket or drop box and link.
Nearly current setup is on Petit RC, only change from that was when grip a little lower go up 1 spring both ends, no other changes. Yes that does sound backwards but softer is easier to catch on high grip and lower grip requires more precision entering the corner as all it can do is hold it's entry line.

Remember that the RB6.6 is very light at the rear, approximately 42%/58% front/rear balance as I have the car built (brass bulkhead, low profile servo, ESC, lipo, motor)

So far I'm running the shocks on the front with the laydown and on the rear with stand up gearboxes.

I've tried the shocks on the rear of the laydown car but find it just seems to make the car less direct and actually a little more prone to rotation.

Yeah I have Neal........drove a few different cars at our club 1 night and it was all pretty even between them.........an RB6 came up cheap so bought it to try it out for a few weeks and ended up getting the new RB6.6

Ive gone with the 3 gear laydown gearbox with shorty across the chassis........but not sure whether to run ESC in front of motor or in front of the shorty.....?
