Track is about 3 miles from J26 of M62.
The track is an astro-turf surface.

The meeting will go ahead tomorrow as planned. Forecast is dry with sun/cloud all day. https://xcweather.co.uk/forecast/cleckheaton

Swimming pool/sports centre gates don't open until 8am, so aim to get there for then, rather than queuing up beforehand. There is very limited waiting space, so you'll be waiting on the main road blocking track builders access.
We will have access to park and pit on the field. A club member should direct you. Please do not park/pit blocking the route and access onto the grass field.

Timetable
Gates open 8:00am. Booking in and practice as soon as we are setup in race control and Track is built, say from 8.30am. 4 min timed practice rotations.
Last call for booking-in at 9.15am. 9.45am drivers briefing, and get racing underway for ~10:00am.

Please note: Cars will be expected to pass basic scrutineering. A BRCA box and scales will be provided to check cars.

There will be a 2wd non-regional heat for club members without 4wd cars and anyone wanting to race 2wd.

Local info:
Hot food and toilets are in the swimming pool. Mcdonalds and supermarket is a few miles down road in Heckmondwyke. Petrol station, cash machine and shop down road less than a mile. There is a new trampoline park less than a mile away if anybody is bringing family along who is not racing, as well as the swimming pool. A short walk up the road, Royds Park Miniature Railway will be running all day, which is great for small kids: http://www.roydsparkrailway.co.uk/

Spikes, Pins and Ballistics. The club picked what we knew worked, having not run Darts on the track at the time of the choice. There was a discussion about pins not fitting in the box on some chassis. It's my understanding that if it fits in the box, it's legal.

That's all I know.

The first club meeting is tomorrow if you want to come and have a practice.

Sorry, yes on Kash's other post he confirmed that the whole series will run Schumacher Darts, Spikes and Ballistic Buggies in any compound as the control tyre choices for the rear tyre. Front tyre is open to any commercially available tyre.

Initially Batley had specified Pins, Spikes and BB's, when asked for our tyre choice, as we knew these worked on our track, and hadn't tested Darts on the track at the time we were asked to choose. We've now tested Darts and I can confirm they are not a bad tyre choice for our track. So to keep within the spirit of the control tyre rules, and to make the choice/cost simpler for the whole series, we have decide to run the same tyre choice as the rest of the series.

Kash has confirmed it here:

Can someone from the club please confirm whether there will be a football match on the day of the Regional or not?
Occasionally in previous years there have been people pitting on or near the football pitch who have been asked to move.
I would rather know in advance so that we don't have to move a couple of hours or so after getting set up

Thanks

I'll try but can't promise we can find out. The pitch use seems separate from the swimming pool complex.
