Default Losi xx

Finally finished the last part of my losi xx race buggy painting of the body and wing went retro and used spray cans but came out goood :-)

It would look still much more cool with losi & trinity vintage decals.

Love the colours on this that much I'm going to steal them for my first and newly aquired JRX2 maybe with a slight variation though.

Thanks Guys has take a while to get there and waiting for parts to come from all over the world :-) for the paint job i my brother dug out some old radio race cars and i took some inspiration from some 1995-97 race buggies was going to do my brothers old body but he said no i cant so mixed it up. will try to scan some in at some time post them up there are some great color schemes. i have got a few more vintage stickers but felt these looked ok for a race buggy but no what you mean :-)

Most of my bits i got through ebay and on some through facebook pages such as oldschool rc and vintage losi page. Take my xx the battery brace came from Australia was cheapest i could find think i paid £9 including shipping but did take 3 weeks to get to UK so patience is much needed. And on hear to if you no the parts you want the wanted section is very useful.

Thanks Dan my brother dropped round some old radio race cars from 95,96,87 i was going to do his old body colors but ended up bit of a mix of different bodies :-) would love to run it at revival i was bit late booking in am in with the 6 gear rc10 and on reserve list for later category with the xxt/xx :-)

Hi mate, are you able to send me some of those pictures with the colour scheme ideas please? Also what wing buttons are you using as I don't recognise them? Were they from ebay too?

No problem its cool to ask the shock bushings came on a losi xxxt i bought im not sure what make they are if they were a losi option but will try find out

Default bit of track time :-)


Bit of track time with my Losi xx trying out new electrics - speed passion reventon pro, lrp 8.5t, savox servo and orion low profile shorty. Schumacher darts yellow compound rear, Schumacher low profile cut staggers yellow compound front. Shock red pistons 20w rear pink spring, 20w front blue springs. Front and rear sway bars.

Funny how they always seem to drive the same looks good although a bit too much front end grip I'm guessing
