Excellent! Note that there is a retro class for your antiques too. There's a list of cars on the website, if you want to nominate a car for inclusion let me know.

I would have to see if I could get all the bits together, it's been kinda spread about other projects!

If not i'll hopefully get down with a few running the 4wd car at least.

You'd be more than welcome to race for the day.

If it all goes to plan we'll have details on the new venue during the week.

just wondering if this event is limited to nitro? if not, would this hbx stealth (with a 5000mah 3s lipo upgrade) put up any competition?

Hey,

We've made the final arrangements for the venue today. The track will be built next week-end.

I'll post more info about the event tomorrow.

Grundy: This will be an electric only event. Open to all types of off-road buggies.

With a venue for this event we can now start making some plans for the event.

The race will be held in the newly secured venue in Kildare, location available on the club website. (http://www.dublinmodelracing.com/location.html)

This will be an electric only event.
There will be practice available the day before the event Sunday the 27th of December, from 11am.

The race will take place on Monday 28th of December, the venue doors will open at 10am, with race control confirming entries from 10.30 - 11.30 am. The first race will start at noon. There will be multiple finals for all classes.
Classes 2wd, 4wd & retro / open.

(Schedule subject to change, depending on numbers entered.)

Pre-entry is possible, email details to info@dublinmodelracing.com

Both days will be timed using AMB/MyLaps timing equipment, PT compatible.

The track will be carpet surface, with wooden features & jumps.

The track will be built this week-end, so will post some pictures / video as soon as possible.

Also I am free this Friday to help setup if you guys are going to be out there. I might be able to get some wood from the garage also if needs be but I am not sure about moving it as I doubt it will fit in a car van.

If you are going to be out there Friday from what time will yous be there?
