I cant wait til I get my covers. Then I can drive my car in loose dirt without issue. I should be able to tackle big 1/8 scale tracks without a problem.
That was the whole reason ordering the covers for my car.

Buying a 511 would've probably been cheaper then speccing up a db-01

Bagofskill did the paint job.He has a thread in the rc graphy section.

I got the DB-01R from Stella models as they are hard to get hold of in the Uk.i just love a good Tamiya build, also have a DF-03ms to finish off then i have to decide which one i,m going to unleash at the PDA.

Yeah i was thinking of buying another one too but i think it is a bit risky to order now as the vulcano on Iceland is still active and flights in Europe are completely cancelled...

I watched WWE Raw last night and they talked about the volcano
hitting you guys the Raw superstars were stranded and couldnt make the show so they had smackdown wrestlers instead. Sorry to hear that.

When I first bought it in 2008 it looked like this.

It's getting a 511 makeover next week.
Maybe white with blue flames on color, parma here in the usa makes paint masks for
detaling rc car bodies.

Top picture looks like your 501/511 has a miniature V10 poking out of the back of it. That's a serious modification.

I notice some of you 511 owners run your shocks in the back..
Does it make any difference putting the rear shocks behind the rear tower?

Im thinking of trying that on my 501x to see if it makes a difference.
