Default New SX3 steering MOD!

This new Ackerman mod for the CAT SX3 allows more outer wheel lock compared to a standard set up. Consequently it gives a more positive feel to the steering input allowing faster potential lap times.

Got mine today, but no chance to try it until next weekend. The steering seems to have less slop though and it does look like the outer wheel does have a bit more angle to it.

Hi have fitted this it good loads more lock but a small issue.
It seems to have been designed around the plastic steering arms so the new pivot bolts thread into them.
The alloy steering isnt threaded ( well mine inst) so you have to use nuts on the bottom and it gives more play than it should.
TBH im going to refit my old plastic arms and prob should go away

Default New SX3 steering MOD

Part number is U4113 RRP £17.99 and in stock at Schumacher, very interested to hear how well this works and whether it is worthwhile.
