Evening club meeting...Thursday 21st June...CANCELLED!

Hi all,

We're thinking about holding a club night (weather permitting) this Thursday night. BBC weather is not looking great at the moment, so we're praying for an improvement by Thursday!

We know it's short notice, so if your def interested in coming please show your interest here so we can gauge if it's worth running!

We plan to run on the same track as the 2nd Gorilla meeting, so mostly astro covered fun

I'd guess timings will be roughly 7pm start running til it's too dark to race...should be able to fit in 3-4 rounds of races depending on numbers.

Well the weather forecast is improving...but the response here is poor to say the least!

We've had 1 say yes on Facebook, 1 on here, 1 pm'd me, plus me and Si...that's only 5 in total so far! Not much of a race meeting

We'll def be there if weather allows, so track will be open, even if we just run free practice

What's the thoughts guys, been a monsoon here in Dorset since 10am, having said that batteries were optimistically charged and the tyres glued in the hope the weathers been better at your end, if not the bomb hole will be a pond...

We're cancelling it...it's been wet on and off all day here, and showing no signs of improving

Forecast is actually just getting worse too....so best we call it off really...

Keep your eyes peeled as we will try and do an evening meeting another time. Sorry Guys!

Hehe...sorry Gaz...I got a bit worried about posting stuff everywhere on oOple, so just stuck to our section this time! Was arranged a bit late in the day too, as while the track is still being worked on it's all a bit ad hoc to say the least!

Watch out for a full calender of events from Late July to December soon...regular club days...a winter series...summer evenings...whatever we can fit in...once the 'real' astro is down properly we'll be on it as much as we can...and members (once we get that sorted too!) will be able to use it almost anytime for practice too!
