I'll be really interested to see what you come up with gomachv.
There certainly seems to be demand for a good slipper solution.
Keep us posted.

Here's some pics of mine, think I've got a sketch somewhere too, I'll post it if I can find it, in case that's of any use to you.

Found my fag packet sketch! ...

I suddenly remembered sending it to Derbydan, how's your ProCAT coming along Dan?
Do I need to get ready to race?

this is the drawing i will present to the machinist. The bearing adapter is split, otherwise you couldnt load the pulley half onto the slipper side.

Looks like a great start.
But, where is the spring going to sit?
Unless I'm missing something, I can't see how you would adjust slipper tension?

The drawing does not show the long threaded setscrew that will hold the locknut, exactly like the old losi design. The hole you see will be threaded. The SV2 adjusted on the other side, strange setup

Just so ya know im serious....just grabbed this today. It's a toy, but should be fine for taking the shafts from 3/16 to 4mm....and after I build the fixture I should be able to cross drill the pin holes too
