Talking Tamiya Subaru brat

Hi after a bit of info on the above.
I have a old Brat that im now restoring, it has 4 wire parts on it that is not listed in the manual, seem to be like roll cage bits.
And ideas?

They all look like home made bits of bent wire to me - there should be a tall metal body post at the front and small plastic elipical parts towards the rear.

That is what my 1st thoughts were but the part that they feed through is a RPM part so was wondering if it's a upgrade?
For some reason the RPM part will not load up😡
