I am new, and am thinking of joining in
hello people
been reading through bits and peices and all it has done is made me want to join in i race mardaves, light touring cars (used to be pretty good too) and the rc bug has bitten again this winter, plus i only live in ashford so not a million miles away now, what works that is cheap, i assume i cant run my traxxas slash (still want to race that somewhere) i do have a couple of 4wd buggies, however one is an origanal release hotshot and the other is a schumacher procat (also have some TL-01 Buggies, but they dont really count) looks like you all run schumacher yellow pins and 27t stock/13.5 which is nice as i have loads of decent speedo's and good lipo's suppose the best thing to do is turn up and have a look one week, can try and get the pro cat running and take that (if it takes a lipo that is) keep it real Ian |

Would be great to see you there. Don't hesitate to come and have a chat one weds, its a very friendly club. The Pro Cat im sure would still go round ok so dig the old beast out.
Hope to see you soon, Dave Ps, the tyres you need are the yellow full spikes. |

Hi Ian,
I don`t know if you remember me it`s Brett Hope, I raced a Brushless Mardave aginst you a few times at Maritime. I race at Faversham every Wednesday and there is a winter series starting very soon.. Its definately worth coming along to have a look It`s a very friendly club and a mixture of all abilities. Some people race old buggies, or you don`t have to spend a fortune on a second hand buggy. The good thing is once your set up it is very cheap to race. Tyres last months |

yeah baby dig the pro cat out what a machine yeah come down, you should be able to get both the saddle lipos and the stick lipos in the pro as the belt runs under the chassis and a both 27t and brushless gear should fit fine how i would love an old beast to open a can of wooparse with.

The truck racing was very cool on sunday. Proper door handling and bumping going on. The one with the buggy shell on was insane. |
