BMAX4iii leaky diff outdrives
Hi all
As title, a little diff oil seeping out I think via outdrives. Having read a little it seems the kit o rings which are black can be replaced with orange ones which are more effective? There's also a note in the manual about adding the 'supplied' o rings to the outer side of outdrive; it's in the exploded diagram of diff on page 5 of manual here: http://site.petitrc.com/setup/yokomo...III_Manual.pdf Can anyone give me a part number for these o-rings please? Got the part numbers for black and orange inner rings, but nothing for outer ones? |

As per previous poster I bought some off ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3217602625...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
There is a maintenance kit but its not really worth the price http://www.wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/237644/ Last edited by Dazzieboy; 18-05-2016 at 10:23 AM. |

Thanks Guys;
So is the diameter 4 or 5mm?! Also the maintenance kit, no paper gasket, just a massive o ring?! |

1mm thickness of the rubber and a 4mm inner diameter of the ring so outer diameter is 6mm (1mm+4mm+1mm). I think. I can measure it for you later on this evening.

I measured the out drive with a vernier at 5mm then measured the thickness of the o-ring in the maintenance kit at 1mm hence I bought the ones in the link. They fitted fine and I've ran the car with no leaks. Don't buy the maintenance kit it's really not worth it
