Hi fella & welcome.

Those cars would be considered very much 'beginner/basher' buggies. I'd certainly steer clear of the Quanum Vandal due to parts availability & fragility. As we've seen time & time again, its all too easy to spend out twice, once buying a cheap car which will either prove unreliable or uncompetitive then again replacing it for something more race worthy once the bug has bitten !

If you already own one of these cars then certainly bring it along & give it a go. Otherwise the Losi 22 is popular within our club, followed by a few Team C/Ansmanns (TM2, Mad Rat), B-Max 2. DEX210 etc. 4wd cars we have a few Losi 22-4's, a Kyosho FS2-SP, DEX410 etc.

hi vandal, always good to hear about new people wanting to pop along to the club. Dans really answered your question.

from your reply about parts, I'm guessing you have one or both cars you mention. That being the case please pop along to a club day with your RC gear and race them.

the club has a mixture of abilities and ages, with the day being all about having a good time.

I believe our next official club meeting is on 21st September as a result of the end if season finals and last regional of the year. After that we should be racing on the second and last Sunday of the month.

Not officially at least due to the End Of Season Finals on 30th/31st, & then the last round of the Regionals on the 14th Sept.

The next club day is the 21st Sept, worth looking on here though in case anybody organises anything in the mean time

I'm planning down to the track tomorrow at about lunch time. I plan to take a few cars down and have a bit of a muck about!
