I found the coventry track okay, but it was uber bumpy, and I found the astro very slippery... (I think this might have something to do with the amount of nitro oil/fuel soaked into it). Like Stobe says, it is better anti-clockwise, mainly to do with coming onto the straight when run clockwise, and the double jump which is very inconsistent, also when run clockwise.

Anyway, I won't be going because I can't afford it after Worksop, its my mothers 60th and also because of not enjoying regionals as much anymore.

if it's raining heavily all week, then i'd probably side with the astro track, just because i hate cleaning the cars of mud from grass tracks.

it hasn't rained much so far this week though

Completely disagree......

If it p!sses down in the days leading upto the meeting, I'd hope we run on the grass. The astro seems to hold water, where as god's wonderful grass lets it drain away.

On the other hand if it's been good all week and rains (not torrential) on the day, then either track would be OK.

I'm sure Coventry will do a great job.

I also know they are erecting a new fence around the track to help reduce the side winds.
