Moss Models are at a regional - Alex posted a few days ago that if you'd like tyres he can bring them to RHR on weds night, or I'm sure he'll leave some with me for you if you like? One of the lads might be selling some tyres for him..

Proline Holeshot on driven axle, any proline tyre on non driven axle (but recommend 2175 rib on 2wd.

M3 and M4 compound both work.
One set should do you, but depends how much practice you do..!

RC Racing TV did contact me to ask if there was a sponsor willing to cover live timing costs but the size of this meeting I don't believe justifies it. oOple have mentioned they may be reporting however.

Grip on clay is awesome when wet/damp. The rain cover is ready to pullover in a torrential downpour.

Was at the (astro) track this afternoon. The clay track looked fantastic. James was going to give it a final roll it in the morning with the steamroller.

Unfortunately we have had to curtail this weekends Proline Challenge, but have made other arrangements. Unfortunately we have only received 8 2wd, 18 4wd and 1 short course entry. The track is prepped, barriers up, pipes painted etc and marquee arranged but with an entry like this and potential big expenses for the club and even lower turnout especially if the poor weather continues we will not be running a full race meeting this weekend. What we WILL be doing is opening up both tracks for FREE to those who sent an entry in (even if you haven't paid - we only had 1 pre-payment). Both tracks will also be open to everyone for £3/day on both days. It is a bad forecast so running may be limited on both tracks but they will be open as much as possible..
We give our sincere apologies for this but must base our decision on what information we have prior - and with the very low entry hopefully we won't be disappointing too many people. We will be onsite all weekend to offer you practice sessions so hope this is a satisfactory compromise. If we can fit another dirt meeting in during the year we will do so

I would have loved to come to this (shortcourse) but 2 things stopped me.

1: Rd1 of the UK SC nationals last weekend at Cov (new tyres for one event + spares/expense)
2: Control tyre being something I dont have (more cost for just one event) as went AKA for cov?

#Gutted. Will the event be run another time?

We'll do our best to find a suitable weekend to re-run... You're still welcome to come up and have a practice on either day though.
