Low Profile blue aluminium rear wing mounts – pr (Associated RC10B44.1)

Wing height is an important adjustment on all vehicles and remains important to jump and cornering characteristics. During the 2011 IFMAR World Championships, Ryan Maifield used a prototype lowered wing mount with success on his B44.1 buggy while taking the Top Qualifying position at the largest 1/10th off-road event in the world. JConcepts introduces the aluminum, low-profile, rear wing mount specifically for the B44 buggy, allowing the racer to lower the rear wing by a full 7mm.

The low-profile rear wing mount is machined from heavy-duty 6061 T6 aluminum to the exact and unique B44 specifications which allows for easy attachment, use and maintenance. The wing attachment platform maintains the stock angle and geometry and accepts the standard plastic wedge shim used to adjust tuning angle. The low-profile design gives the vehicle a more sleek appearance and maintains more consistent jump characteristics and during wind gust activity.

Short Course trucks have evolved into high-performance racing vehicles and adjustability is always the key to success. Introducing the Hazard 12mm hex wheel for the SC10 4x4 and SC10 by JConcepts. A powerful new look that combines the winning combination of a 10 spoke design, bead-lock appearance and center lug nut detail with a hint of inspiration from yesteryear. The Hazard will make an immediate impact on the performance of the SC10 trucks by widening the stance of the truck by 6mm in overall width. The increased width will maximize the SC10 and bring it up to the ROAR maximum legal limits in dimensional width.

Already a champion, the Hazard wheel earned the top qualifying position and 1st place at the 2011 ROAR Off-Road Nationals in the Pro 2 modified class in the hands of Ryan Maifield. A dominating performance taking the TQ in the first 3 rounds of qualifying and 1st place in A-main 1 and 2 to take retain the title for JConcepts.

By nature, Short Course trucks have a high center of gravity and tend to feel light or tippy in high-speed sections. There is no better way to improve on-track stability than to add width, and with the Hazard wheels, sweeping through the high-speed corners gets a little easier. To use the 12mm hex wheel on the SC10 it requires JConcepts part JC2081 for the rear and the Team Associated inboard hub hex conversion for front.
