From what I've seen in ebay B2's in roller condition go for about $40 to $60 bucks more or less.
You can buy a cheap ESC for $10 + brushed motor and cheap radio system and bash with it or spend a little more and race with it, but dont expect to win if there are good drivers with newer buggies on the track. My 2 cents. Ed |

Get a new battery strap for a couple of quid now so it's complete and then chuck it back in the cupboard for a few more years and then it could be collectable.
OR sell it now for not a lot of money as people don't seem to want them at the moment. |

Buff it, polish it, buy a few bits, stick them on, and run that ol' girl!

Its weird how this car doesnt go for much even though it was brilliant car, i got some very good results using this and found this very easy to set up and simple to maintain.

The B2 is actually quite a rare car these days - it wasn't out for very long before the B3 was released (and many B2s were converted to B3s also) But despite this they don't seem to command much ££s - especially on UK ebay
My mate still races his B3 on occation on the grass track at Hinckley & it goes really well - the B3 only had some minor updates to the B2 so I don't see that it would go any less well?

Yeah don't think they were out Long at all. Some one said just over a year to me but not sure how true that is.
Ill keep a look out for a battery strap for it and give it a good clean up I think and shelf queen it for a while

Before the B3 came out I was using one off front wishbones which were fractionally wider, and basically the same length as the B3s front wishbones, but preferred the shorter B2 rear wishbones as it made the car more agressive and more user friendly. I also had a front pivot plate behind the wishbones and also in front to give extra strength.
I did redesign the rear tower to a CF one, same thickness as well but used the Boss Cat wing mount thus saving me on wings. I will have to find a pciture and post it.

Good call, id say give it all a good scrub, scrub all the plastics with Armorall and show it off, itll clean up nice with a bit of elbow grease!

They are pretty strong cars, run mine with a 5.5t and it holds up fine, hard to steer when your front tyres aren't contacting the track though.
Doesn't seem to handle worse than a B3, they did win the 95 world titles remember, even beating the "fastest car in the worlds". |

Works well with a B4 slipper clutch or VTS as the layshaft gear is identical in size so is a perfect fit and I have a 5.5 in mine, just got to remember where I put it.
